This kantha quilt comes from a rural village in India and was used for years by the family of the woman who made it. There are hundreds of thousands of handstitched kantha stitches making this extremely durable and machine washable. 

This quilt is both block printed and hand embroidered.

This quilt is thicker than your typical kantha quilt. It is extra durable and weighty, offering a feel that only time can create.
