FAQ
Pretty darn quick! I typically ship every Mon, Wed & Fri. However, right now this is a one mama shop and there will be times when life (read: 3 year old) gets crazy and it takes an extra day or two. You’ll get an email with tracking when your order ships so you can track your gorgeous quilts all the way from my house to yours!
If for any reason your items don’t meet your expectation, please let me know. I want your experience with Kantha Love to be positive and will always work to make it right. But, to protect our butts, here is our really long, official refund policy... just in case.
We strive for safe deliveries but unfortunately cannot be liable for issues beyond our control once the package is dropped off at the post office. If you are having any issues, let me know and if it's my fault, I'll make it right.
Kantha quilts and kantha embroidery originated more than 500 years ago. Learn more about Kantha here.
We don't currently ship outside the U.S. but hope to expand globally soon. Please check back for updates!
Our Vintage Cotton Kantha products are made from recycled vintage sari scarves that are hand-stitched. They are 100% organic muslin cotton
Our Silk Patchwork quilts are made from vintage and previously used silk saris on the front and a solid cotton fabric on the back. But, it seems that some of the patches are actually made from silk, and others are a blend of silk and polyester.
Our block printed items are stamped with natural pigments on 100% muslin cotton. Wooden blocks are carved with intricate designs and then dipped into ink and stamped onto the fabric.
Our block printed fabrics are made by hand carving designs on blocks of teak wood. The carved wooden stamp is then dipped into ink and stamped onto stretched cotton fabric. Multiple prints are layered in different colors to form complex patterns. The pattern is stamped and repeated down the length of the whole fabric. The fabrics are then steamed and washed to set the ink.
