This one-of-a-kind tote bags is handcrafted from repurposed vintage Kantha quilts that were used for years in rural Indian villages. This spacious tote is beautiful and incredibly durable, made from many, many layers of colorful fabric peeking through from worn areas that tell the story of the quilt's history and intricate stitching.

Tote is gorgeous! Love the blues of the fabric! Lining coordinates nicely and is well sewn. It's a bit bigger than I imagined, but is an excellent size for many things. I'm using it as a purse. I really love the quilts too!! Stunning bright colors and excellent craftsmanship. I washed and dried them and not a stitch moved and no wrinkles. Washed beautifully in cold water with a touch of detergent. I would not hesitate buying anything from Kantha Love. I highly recommend these beautiful pieces. And I hope the women crafting them know how much they are appreciated for their talents and I hope they receive the compensation they deserve.
