This kantha quilt comes from a rural village in India and was used for years by the family of the woman who made it. There are hundreds of thousands of handstitched kantha stitches making this extremely durable and machine washable. 

This quilt has layers of patches, faded prints, and worn areas, revealing the long & storied history of the family that used it.

This quilt is much thicker than your typical kantha quilt. It is extra durable and weighty, offering a feel that only time can create.
